Erdbeertarte - Strawberry Tart

It's Tuesday! Time for a rendezvous with one of Dorie Greenspan's recipes. Marie over at A Year in Oak Cottage chose La Palette's Strawberry Tart on page 374 from Baking: From my home to yours. Perfect for this time of the year! The season for fresh strawberries from northern Germany just began. I love to buy strawberries local. No long flights or a "tour d'Europe" in climatised vans.
As Dorie made it up to the baker to choose a tart crust I took a crust dough I had in the freezer. The crust was done quickly. I spread some strawberry jam on the crust. That was a little difficult as the jam was of a finde quality with lots of whole fruit. For this purpose it was difficult to handle as I couldn't spread it evenly. I didn't flavour the strawberries with alcohol as suggested but added just a little confectioner's sugar.
I served the tarte with greek yoghurt and a hint of ground black pepper. Delicious!
