Rezept für Schokoladen-Cupcakes

It's tuesday and time for baking! And as always tuesday means "Tuesdays with Dorie"! Clara of "I heart food 4 thought" chose "Chocolate-Chocolate Cupcakes". Perfect because I started baking cupcakes not long ago and after a frustration with Elionor Klivans sour cream chocolate cupcakes I was happy to try one of Dorie Greenspan's recipes.

The cupcakes were moist and not too heavy. I really enjoyed the glaze because it could be used as a dip or even like a frosting. Instead of being in a Halloween mood I already dream of christmas - you have to know that Halloween became popular in Germany over the last few years - and it's far from being a tradition. I would even say that Halloween is more a big advertising campaign of the lifestyle media. So I decided to use some coloured sugars to sprinkle on top of the cupcakes and to make some chocolate in window color technique like Astrid over at "La Cerise" did for her daughter's birthday cakes. I tried a little christmas tree and some chocolade grids of white chocolate. If you want to know about my experience with that, come back tomorrow when I'll post about it.

Thanks to Jennifer again for choosing this wonderful recipe!
You can find the recipe for the chocolate chocolate cupcakes over at her blog.

Da muss man Fingerspitzengefühl walten lassen.

Uli
