I know I'm late - it's already Thursday. But here are my buttery jam cookies for this week's Tuesdays with Dorie! Heather of Randomosity and the Girl chose Dorie's buttery jam cookies.

The ground ginger might have been the twist but I omitted it because I wanted to use british marmelade (medium with orange peel).

The cookies were really chewy and I will keep this recipe for another time of the year. They were nice but not spectacular. Not the perfect cookie for the holiday seasaon but I will try them again with some little chocolate chunks and marmelade.
